01 / Бәкі алу
Belonging to the family is inherited.
Жеке бәкі is not.
You do not have to earn the right to be Bakibulda. You already belong. Бәкі алу is the moment you recognise the meaning of your own path and choose to stand behind it.
Daughter and son. Mother and father. Grandmother and grandson. The tradition belongs equally to everyone.
02 / Possible stories
There is no right age.
At ten, twenty-seven, seventy-one. Or never. Age does not appoint your moment. Achievements cannot be measured on a single scale.
“I overcame a fear that had held me back for years.”
These are examples, not requirements.
03 / Бәкі алу
The first step is yours.
“I am ready to undertake Бәкі алу.”
No one can nominate another person. Parents, elders and partners cannot decide you are ready. You declare your intention yourself. Then the Кеңес — the family council — is called.

Your words. Your path.
Your responsibility.
Before the council, you explain why you have come now. The questions may be difficult. You must name the value of what you have done and stand behind your decision, even when others doubt it.

After Бәкі алу, the creation of a Жеке бәкі begins. A personal dagger, made only once. A meeting of family tradition and the character of its owner.
Your own
Shape and proportions. Materials and finish. Handle, sheath, ornament and personal symbols. The owner participates in every choice.
Shared by the family
The Таңба at the base of the blade. The owner’s name and date of Бәкі алу on its reverse. The family number on the pommel. The rest of the story lives in the archive.

The family motto may be engraved discreetly on the sheath.
